“You weren't going to invite me to your house ma?” Vontae said looking down at me.

His eyes were blood shot red so I knew he was high and when a nigga was high that meant his ass would be hungry too.

“I was gonna invite you, but you showed up before I could call.”

“Yea right, stop lying Bella and Asia called my cousin early this morning letting them know about the BBQ.”

“Okay you got me” I said giggling.

“You hurt my feelings Raven.” he said making the saddest face I ever seen

“Did I really?”

“Yes now give me a kiss to make it better.”

I leaned up and gave him a quick peck. I guess he wanted more because he pulled me close and kissed me so deep that my panties were now wet. I pulled back and took a couple of steps back so that we had some space in between us.

“Why are you running Raven?”

“I'm not running I'm just not sure your ready for this.”

“Ma I'm ready and willing. Spend the night with me Raven.” He said grabbing my hands.

“I don't know about that.”

“Come on ma just give me a chance.”

“Ok, I'll come spend the night with you but that doesn't mean we’re fucking.” I told him.

He wrapped his arms around me and led me back outside. I felt like someone was staring at me so I turned to my left, and Dre was watching us. The look he was giving me was kind of making me uncomfortable. I knew Dre well enough to know that what he told me earlier really wasn't what he wanted to tell me. I figured that I would catch up with him later and find out what it was that he wanted to tell me.

“Who this young man that is all over my daughter?” My father said walking up to us.

“Daddy this is Vontae, Vontae this is my father Keith.”

“It's nice to meet you sir,” Vontae said.

“It's nice to meet you too young man, especially cause Raven hasn't killed you yet for being all over her.”

“Daddy.” I said.

“What it's the truth, when ever any of her other boyfriends why try to be all over her she would go 180 on their asses.” my father said laughing.

“That's cause they were annoying and clingy.” I told him.

“Raven just needs someone to put her in her place, she so use to being in control that she doesn't know when someone is trying to just be there for her.” Vontae said.

“Well said. I like him Raven try not to mess this up.” My father said before he walked away.

Vontae said he was hungry, so I went over to the food table to fix him a plate while he grabbed us some sits next to my sisters and his cousins. I grabbed our plates and went over to the table. I placed Vontae's plate in front of him and gave him a kiss. I wasn't sure why I kissed him I just felt the urge to kiss his lips.
